Company is seeking a 1st shift press brake set up person in metal fabrication/job shop.Mostly CNC and some manual press brake work.Medium to heavy gauge materials also material handling duties.$25-$30/hour starting is possible for 1st shiftSet up press brake from prints.CNC back stops and gauges on brake press.Long term, growth and good benefits.Trainee might work-would train someone from metals background-with good math and measuringTrainee wage $20-$24/hour Set-up, adjust and operate all sizes of press brakes to perform a wide variety of forming, notching, bending and punching operations on a diversified line of work. Set-up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle to the capacity of machine. Determine sequence of multiple pass operations to make required bends on complicated sections. Make set-ups for forming special shapes having single or compound radii and angle requirements. Set-up fixed and adjustable punching dies and gauges for multiple and series punching. Work from drawings, patterns, templates and specifications. Use scale, protractor, dividers, radii gauges, etc. Proceed with minimum supervision and instruction.
