What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator or Trainee position at American Technical Services, Inc.?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: CNC Laser, CNC band saw, manual shear, some mechanical
assembly. Will train. Machining variety of materials and job shop. 1st
shift open-Mukwonago, WI area Machine Operator will operate metal
cutting and fabrication machinery. Some assembly. Material handling.
Overtime available. CNC Operator is working 5, 10 hour days and
willingness to be trained-up on 1st and 2nd shift. Any type of CNC
machine operating background in a machine shop or even metal fab shop is
okay. Depending on experience and skills, wage could start at \$19-22
(if trainee) and could go to \$24 (with CNC laser experience). Mostly
medium sized metal alloys but some lifting up to 5olbs on occasion.
Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and
workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring
instruments. Set up and operate computer-controlled machines or robots
to perform one or more machine functions on metal or plastic workpieces.
Remove and replace dull cutting tools. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: CNC schooling, shop class, manual machining, production
or related metal working shop experience. Ability to read a micrometer
