OVERVIEW

Shift A-Grade Electrician willinstall, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repairelectricalequipment and associatedcontrols. They make sure that electrical systems are safe and reliable.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.

• Install, examine, replace or repair GRS conduit, EMT conduit, PVC conduit, lighting, electrical wiring, grounding, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, starters, controllers, VFD's, relays, fuses, coils and other electrical components.

• Follow strict safety procedures when repairing or installing single phase and three phase power distribution systems related to 120/208/240/277/480 and 4160 voltages.

• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, rectifiers, relays, capacitors and inductors.

• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, battery banks, circuit breakers and other electrical components.

• Troubleshoot & maintain electrical and electronic control systems, fire alarm, intercom, security and other related devices.

• Perform necessary repairs quickly and safely to minimize downtime.

• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records as required.

WORK EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance and instrumentation.

• Plant experience in process control and reliability in a manufacturing facility.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Posses a High School Diploma or GED or other equivalency approved by Okeelanta Management.

• A valid Palm Beach County Journeymen License is desirable but not required
