Position Overview
ASTP is seeking a highly organized, systems-oriented Human Resources Programs Specialist to join our growing HR team. This role serves as a key partner within the Human Resources function, working closely with corporate leaders, regional HR teams, operating companies, and external vendors to support and enhance HR systems, programs, and processes.
The HR Programs Specialist plays a critical role in implementing and managing HR initiatives that support recruiting, retaining, and engaging talented employees across the organization. This position combines project management, HR systems administration, and program execution to ensure HR processes are scalable, effective, and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Program Management

Manage and support HR systems and platforms, including HRIS, LMS, and employee engagement tools.

Oversee implementation, optimization, and adoption of HR programs and systems across the organization.

Maintain system data integrity and support reporting and analytics.

Develop training materials and documentation to support adoption and effective use of HR tools.
Project Management & Process Improvement

Lead project planning and execution for new HR systems, tools, and program rollouts.

Document and improve HR workflows, policies, and operational processes.

Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance HR processes and systems.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adjusting priorities as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with HR Business Partners, operational leaders, and regional teams to implement HR initiatives.

Communicate updates and changes to HR programs, systems, and policies clearly across different audiences.

Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to ensure successful program implementation and support.
Employee Development & Engagement

Support leadership development and training initiatives.

Assist with administration and adoption of learning management systems.

Support engagement survey initiatives and help facilitate communication and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5 years of experience in HR operations, HR systems, shared services, or program management

Experience implementing or managing HR systems, processes, or programs

Demonstrated experience managing projects in a distributed or matrixed organization

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:

Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, or LMS platforms (Paycom experience is a plus)

Experience supporting HR compliance and operational processes

Experience working with HR vendors or system implementations
