Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with desktop deployment, hardware and software configuration, installation,  and testing
• Experience creating application packages and troubleshooting application package deployment issues is required
• Experience imaging devices and post image installation is required
• Strong technical knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware and software, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and anti-virus software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with hardware and software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools is a plus.
• Experience with Ivanti imaging platform is a plus

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

The Senior Desktop Deployment Technician will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will need to be proactive and possess excellent communication skills to provide timely and effective support to end-users and other stakeholders.

• Prepare and deploy desktops and laptops for end-users, including imaging, configuration, and testing.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Perform upgrades and patches to operating systems, applications, and hardware as required.
• Provide technical support to end-users on desktop-related issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure that desktops and laptops are integrated into our overall network infrastructure.
• Document procedures and guidelines related to desktop deployment and support.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives related to desktop deployment and support as required.
