About the Role
American Stone is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Professional to build and maintain relationships with contractors, landscapers, architects, and masonry professionals.
Compensation: Base Commission (top performers can earn six figures)
This role is focused on developing new business, managing existing accounts, and driving sales through consistent customer visits and follow-up.
This is a primarily on-site position with significant time spent in the field visiting customers. Candidates must be local and available to work during business hours, including Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Conduct regular in-person visits to job sites, contractors, and businesses
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline through calls and follow-ups
- Present products, provide recommendations, and close sales
- Process orders and coordinate with internal teams
- Identify upsell opportunities and maximize customer value
- Track activity and maintain customer contact based on KPIs
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and visit targets
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Basic computer skills (email, Google Docs, Microsoft Word)
- Ability to work both in the field and in-office
- Dependable and able to follow through on commitments
Preferred:
- Sales experience (outside or inside sales)
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or related industries
- Spanish is a plus
