Using telematics systems and diagnostic tools, you'll monitor critical systems, predict failures, coordinate repairs, and help keep machines running efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Telematics Monitoring – Analyze equipment data to detect issues and predict failures. Monitor key systems like engines, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Troubleshooting & Failure Investigation – Collaborate with service teams to diagnose problems, investigate failures, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work Order & Service Management – Create and manage work orders, schedule maintenance, and ensure timely service completion.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) – Oversee PM scheduling based on machine usage and manufacturer guidelines.
- Oil Sample Analysis – Interpret fluid analysis results and take appropriate action to extend equipment life.
- Invoice & Quality Control – Review and verify service invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Support – Serve as a liaison between customers and service teams, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Warranty Support – Assist in processing warranty claims with accurate documentation and technical input.
- Maintenance Oversight – Maintain up-to-date service records and align maintenance plans with equipment performance.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- Familiarity with brands and models serviced by American State Equipment.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment systems and components.
- Experience with telematics, diagnostics, oil sampling, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel (less than 50%).
