What you’ll handle
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes, with optional cross-border trips to Canada
- Pick up and deliver industrial rollers with careful handling and freight protection
- Secure flatbed loads and run compliant with DOT regulations at all times
- Serve as a professional, customer-facing representative during pickups and deliveries
- Share customer feedback and new opportunities with internal teams
- Coordinate timing and routing with dispatch and plant operations
- Assist with loading/unloading and verify shipment accuracy
- Maintain DOT logs, inspections, and all required compliance documentation
- Valid CDL Class A
- Clean driving record and active FMCSA Clearinghouse status
- Previous flatbed experience (required)
- 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Strong navigation, trip-planning, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service approach
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of flatbed securement and freight handling
- Ability to run to/from Canada is a plus; if you choose cross-border loads, you’ll need a valid passport or appropriate documentation
- $0.65–$0.70 per mile (based on experience)

- Average annual earnings: $80,000–$90,000
