Industrial Roller CNC Machining Craftsperson II

At American Roller Company in Oshkosh, WI, every thousandth counts. We’re looking for a Machinist II who pairs hands-on skill with a curiosity for metallurgy and a commitment to quality.

Create precision roller components by setting up and operating CNC and manual lathes, moving material safely with overhead cranes, and verifying results with micrometers and gauges to 0.0005 inch. Your insight into metals and machining best practices helps us run smarter and deliver consistent results.

You’ll get immersed in the American Roller Way—our long-standing approach (since 1938) centered on safety, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll learn our workflows at a full-service roller processing plant and machine shop, then take on jobs that directly support customers in rubber and polymer industries across the U.S.

• Extensive machining experience with strong manual lathe capability.
• Confidence indicating parts and holding tight tolerances.
• Proficiency with micrometers and precision measuring tools.
• Hands-on experience using overhead cranes and safe material handling practices.
• Working knowledge of metallurgy and proven machining fundamentals.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your craft.

• Weekly pay.
• $25.00–$27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
• 3.5% premium for second shift.
• Full-time schedules: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, or Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM (10-hour days). Choose first or second shift.
