What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at American Retail Supply?
Goals & Objectives (Essential Job Functions) of the Position
- Excellent customer service for both our co-workers as well as our customers.
- Picking orders: requires long periods of standing, walking and being able to perform heavy lifting throughout the day and operate stand up lift.
- Daily shipping of LTL palletized freight including pulling shrink wrapping, banding, crating, quoting, and completing Bill of Ladings.
- Daily shipping small packages through UPS software, US postal service
- Ability to operate forklift, man-lift, and reach truck.
- Weekly Deliveries in the company truck
Employment Requirements:
- Work Experience: Warehouse or shipping experience required.
- Excellence attendance is required.
- Education: High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Skill: Ability to be trained on our system, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and good communication skills.
- Drivers license required.
- Physical: Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours. Lift up to 70 lbs
