General Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Restoration Team in Vancouver. Your role will be to provide estimating and project management services to our single family, multi-family, and commercial clients.
Experience and Responsibilities
- Possesses insurance industry specific knowledge to effectively plan and manage restoration (fire/water/storm) re-build projects.
- Can prepare estimates using Xactimate and other proprietary software.
- Experience with exterior building maintenance and repairing water intrusion issues including: roofs, siding, structural framing deficiencies and below grade repairs.
- Experience working with multi-family clients and vendors, managing both insurance driven and self-pay projects.
- Ability to negotiate project scope and estimates.
- Review shop drawings (interior/exterior finishes, cabinets, flooring, etc.) as needed.
- Oversee/manage design changes with insurance representative, consultant, and client.
- Manage contractual changes with clients and vendors.
- Prepare VE/cost analysis recommendations for budget challenges.
- Source and qualify vendors/subcontractors as needed.
- Manage subcontractors and crews on multiple projects.
- Maintain written communication with clients, vendors, and insurance representatives
- Strong management of budget and schedule.
Qualifications
- Ability to create/write consistent and comprehensive estimates for projects.
- Experience using DASH software.
- Excellent planning, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local, State, and federal code requirements.
- Prior management experience with approachable and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Practical experience with MS Project and MS Excel.
- History of building successful relationships with Property Managers, Homeowner Associations, Homeowners, Insurance Representatives, Subcontractors and Vendors.
