Purpose:
Lead and direct day-to-day operations while coordinating the interrelated activities of the team to achieve optimum performance.
Job Scope:
Provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to move the team forward. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the 24/7 mitigation team including but not limited to qualifying, rebuilding and closing jobs. Establish systems to facilitate effective project management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities linked to project management including assignment, allocation of resources, execution, and closeout.
- Interface with all levels of project personnel to obtain status updates:
- Assess progress
- Review budget
- Scheduling
- Identify potential problem areas
- Confirm action plan
- Conduct team meetings – (lessons learned, identifies root cause of current problems – case and point examples, resolution, action plan and communication of clear expectations
- Monitor team performance to ensure progress is being made and corrective action, if necessary is taken
- Keep leadership fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take corrective action where necessary
- Establish clear guidelines for accountability, responsibility and authority for team
- Identify training needs, initiate the development of team members and recommend resources to accomplish goals
- Mediate and solve problems between coworkers, clients, subcontractors etc.
- Cleary define roles and responsibilities of team members
- Job cost reporting and analysis

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and conducting all aspects of team employee life cycle
- This role oversees Project Manager(s), Superintendent(s) and Mitigation Technicians who support a 24/7 business.
- Providing guidance, training, and support ensure team members at all levels have the knowledge and tools to execute their job responsibilities.
Work Environment:
- All work is to be completed in one of our two offices or on a jobsite
Experience / Knowledge Required:
- 2-3 year’s experience in Mitigation Management
- 2 or more years of Xactimate experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership experience in restoration and mitigation operations.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and project timelines effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and insurance adjusters.
- Knowledge of the invoicing cycle and expertise in customer and insurance
Other duties:
- Ability to fill in or provide coverage for team member’s absences or vacancies

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
