Position Summary:
We are seeking caring and dependable Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals, participating in their communities, and living meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Comfortable working with kids (9 years old male)
- Support individuals in community activities, employment, or recreational programs
- Promote independence, choice, and self-advocacy
- Document services provided according to agency and state requirements
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications:
✅ High school diploma or equivalent
✅ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✅ Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Preferred but not required:
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Working with children
- First Aid/CPR certification
