About the Role: The Construction Loan Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth loan disbursements and delivering exceptional service to builder clients and settlement agents. This role requires close attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for providing support for Closing, Funding, Draw Administration, Servicing, and closeout of the Construction Lending Department.
Location: This position is based in our Palatine, Illinois office and is an in-person role.
Salary: Starting at $60k/year - Commensurate with Experience
Responsibilities:
- Set up new loans and enter data into cutting-edge software systems.
- Process draw requests including coordinating site inspections and title updates.
- Manage loan draw disbursements by overseeing wire transfers and delivering documents to settlement agents.
- Maintain accurate records of draws, payments, and fees within internal systems.
- Generate and distribute monthly mortgage payment invoices, payoff notices, and lien releases.
- Assist with month-end reporting and accounting transactions to ensure timely and accurate records.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth loan servicing and disbursement processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential mortgage lending is required.
- Bonus points for experience in residential construction processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Pro, Encompass LOS, and Land Gorilla software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on providing stellar service.
