Our shop is located in Berea, OH US 44017. We primarily service the west side of Cleveland and the surrounding areas. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywaller to join our team. This role involves demolition, hanging, finishing, and texturing drywall for residential and/or commercial projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with all phases of drywall installation and repair and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities:Perform demolition of existing drywall, including ceilings and walls, as neededCut out damaged areas and prepare patches for repairHang 1/2" and 5/8" drywall on walls and ceilingsBackfill and repair damaged areas to ensure a smooth, even surfaceTape, coat, and apply final coats to seams, corners, and corner beadSand and finish surfaces to prepare for paint or textureMatch and blend textures on patched areasApply texture to ceilings and walls when requiredMaintain a clean and safe work area throughout the projectFollow job specifications, safety guidelines, and company standards Qualifications:Proven experience as a Drywaller or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of drywall installation, finishing, and texturing techniquesAbility to demo ceilings and walls without causing unnecessary damageExperience working with corner bead, seams, and various texturesAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipReliable transportation and basic drywall tools preferred Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry drywall sheets and materialsComfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and overheadAbility to stand, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the dayCompany DescriptionAmerican Plaster and Drywall is looking to fill a few positions . We are looking for finishers that have 3 yrs experience with finish work and has some background in hanging .
