Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Optical Manufacturing Technician for a full-time role at our Sarasota, FL location. This on-site position involves operating and maintaining optical manufacturing equipment, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining clean room environments. The technician will collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and support continuous improvement initiatives in the production of high-quality laser optics.
Qualifications
- Experience working in Clean Rooms and following strict clean room procedures.
- Strong background in Quality Control to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and specifications.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, including optical fabrication and coating techniques.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to process improvements.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and excellence.
- Previous experience in optical manufacturing or a related field is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant education are a plus.
