Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to apply paint, stain, or finish coatings on various surfaces
- Perform trim carpentry, drywall finishing, stucco application, masonry touch-ups, and fixture installation as needed during renovation or restoration projects
- Conduct surface repairs including patching holes, repairing cracks, and restoring damaged areas with plaster or masonry technique
- Maintain a safe work environment by following construction site safety protocols and properly handling hand tools and equipment when required
Skills
- Extensive experience in residential and commercial painting
- Hands-on experience with carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and remodeling projects
- Ability to operate power tools such as sanders, drills, saws, welding equipment, and concrete finishing tools confidently
- Familiarity with maintenance tasks related to building restoration and renovation projects
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during project planning
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices along with handyman experience for versatile project support
- Job is 1099 (no withholding) you will receive a 1099 at years end
- Job hours vary and are flexible 25-50hrs per week
- Must be clean and polite
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
