What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overhead Door & Dock Technician position at American Overhead Door?
American Overhead Door is looking for full time garage door and dock leveler installers/service technicians. We have immediate full-time openings available (40 hours per week). Hourly wage based upon experience level. Must be 20 years or older with a clean history and able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends (Occasionally)
- On call (Limited)
Work Location:
- Multiple locations (We service everywhere from Lubbock to Amarillo.)
Typical start time:
- 7:30AM (Larger jobs may require earlier start times)
Typical end time:
- 5PM (Larger jobs may require later end times)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who has 2 years of overhead door/garage door experience. (Installation, repair, etc.)
- Someone who has some experience installing/repairing dock equipment.
- Someone who is capable to operate equipment such as aerial lifts and forklifts. (Certifications/licenses are a plus!)
- Someone who is willing to learn and take initiative.
- Welding and torch experience is a plus!
