What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Mechanic - A or B position at American muffler shop and auto repair?
We are looking for an Auto Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.
Salary is dependent upon experience. Hours for the position are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
- Specializes in vehicle transmission systems
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic
- Must have a NY State Inspector's certification
- Must have your own tools
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
