About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery operations and ensure our materials reach customers safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This key role connects our production, warehouse, and transportation teams, keeping operations running smoothly while upholding our commitment to safety and service.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily delivery operations, including routing, scheduling, and equipment management.
- Supervise and train logistics and delivery staff to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and transportation laws.
- Review shipping documents and bills of lading for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate directly with customers to schedule and confirm shipments.
- Respond promptly to delivery or loading issues and resolve problems effectively.
- Investigate complaints regarding lost or damaged material and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage backhauls, coordinate maintenance scheduling, and optimize routing for efficiency.
- Lead staff meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and support team development.
- Recommend process improvements and methods to enhance delivery performance and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records and follow company procedures for safety and incident reporting.
Qualifications
- 0–5 years of supervisory or logistics experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional logistics or transportation training preferred.
- Working knowledge of transportation laws, DOT regulations, and interstate shipping requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in warehouse or logistics management systems (WMS).
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
