About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and resilient Outbound Appointment Setter to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be exactly that: hitting the phones. You will spend your day making high-volume outbound calls to prospective leads, qualifying their interest in health insurance, and smoothly transferring them to our licensed Health Insurance Agents.
If you have a great phone voice, don't take "no" personally, and are driven by hitting daily call targets and earning bonuses, this is the job for you.
What You’ll Do Every Day- Make Outbound Calls: Dial a high volume of provided leads daily using our phone system/dialer.
- Qualify Prospects: Ask a few brief, targeted questions to determine if the lead is interested and eligible for our health insurance products.
- Live Transfers & Scheduling: Successfully hand off interested, qualified leads to a licensed agent via a live phone transfer (or schedule a callback appointment).
- Update Records: Accurately log call outcomes, update contact information, and leave clear notes in our CRM system.
- Meet Quotas: Consistently hit daily and weekly targets for calls made and successful agent transfers.
- Communication Skills: Clear, confident, and friendly telephone demeanor. You sound professional but approachable.
- Resilience: You have a thick skin. You understand that rejection is just part of the sales process and can quickly move on to the next call with a positive attitude.
- Experience: Previous experience in telemarketing, cold calling, call centers, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate a CRM and multi-line dialer system while speaking on the phone.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and capable of staying focused while performing repetitive tasks.
