JOB TITLE: Specialty CAD Tech
DEPARTMENT: Cutting
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: PLANT 3
SUMMARY:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize CAD software to create precise technical drawings.
- Interpret and translate sketches, diagrams and verbal instructions into accurate CAD drawings.
- Marker quality and quantity
- Verify accuracy of geometrics/shapes details parts on system
- Lay patters/markers utilizing company methods to achieve best possible fabric usage
- General full-size patterns on Okidata printer
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- CAD experience/knowledge required (Formaris and Diaminio)
- Able to measure & recognize fabric repeats
- PC Experience and working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Quality minded
- Organized, detailed, take good notes to reference back to
- Able to work independently and multitask
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- LECTRA experience/knowledge a plus
- Hand cutting experience a plus
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
EFFORT
- Able to work full time
- Able to sit for long periods of time working on computer
- Able to work in a fast past environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
