JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Specialty Repair Cutter
Department: Cutting
Location: Plant 5
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly Pay
Schedule: M – Th 6:00 am – 4:30 PM & Fridays 6:00 am – 10:00 am
Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis. We are continuing to grow and are currently hiring for multiple full-time positions offering consistent 40–45 hour workweeks, no Saturday schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package. Overview of Responsibilities
- Specialty Repair Cutters inspect and verify fabric and leather pieces to meet qualifications from work orders at quality check points for high end household furniture.
- Tag, bundle and load onto sewing racks.
- Maintain clean and neat workstation.
- Maintain tools in working condition.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of furniture cutting experience required. 2 years auto operator.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- LEAN Manufacturing experience plus
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship.
- Ability to work full-time.
- Must be flexible to work overtime when required.
- Able to stand for 10 hours.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 50lbs.
