About the Role:
The Kitter Foam role is a specialized position focused on the precise preparation and handling of foam materials used in manufacturing or packaging processes. The primary objective is to ensure that foam products meet quality standards and specifications by accurately measuring, mixing, and processing raw materials. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The Kitter Foam professional collaborates closely with production teams to optimize foam formulation and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position contributes to the production of high-quality foam products that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material handling.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a foam manufacturing or related production environment.
- Familiarity with industrial mixing and dispensing equipment.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles and documentation.
- Certification in workplace safety or hazardous materials handling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and batch sheets.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mix foam raw materials according to specified formulations and production schedules.
- Operate and maintain foam dispensing and mixing equipment to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct quality checks on foam products to verify compliance with dimensional and physical property standards.
- Maintain accurate records of material usage, batch numbers, and production data for traceability.
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and extend machinery life.
