American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Student Services Administrative Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic school year for our Queen Creek High School campus located in the East Valley. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
The Administrative Assistant of Student Services critical administrative support for the student services department. This role involves managing various aspects of student support operations, including handling student records, coordinating services, and facilitating communication between students, parents, and staff. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that student services run smoothly and effectively, helping to address the diverse needs of students and supporting the overall educational mission of the school.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide administrative assistance to the student services department, including scheduling
appointments, managing correspondence, and handling phone calls.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to student services, including records, reports, and
meeting minutes.
• Maintain and update student records, including enrollment information, attendance,
disciplinary records, and special education files.
• Process and file student records accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with school
policies and regulations.
• Assist in coordinating services for students, including academic support, counseling, special
education, and health services.
• Facilitate communication between students, parents, and service providers to ensure that
students receive the appropriate support and resources.
• Provide information and support to students and families regarding school policies, procedures,
and available services.
• Coordinate and manage scheduling for student services appointments, including meetings with
counselors, special education staff, and other support personnel.
• Assist in organizing and managing events related to student services, such as orientations,
parent workshops, and support group meetings.
• Enter and manage related to student services in relevant systems, including student information
systems and databases.
• Generate reports and summaries on student services activities, performance, and other metrics
as needed by school administration.
• Assist in the administration of special programs, such as after-school programs, summer school,
and intervention services.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining documentation for audits and evaluations.
• Other duties as assigned.
