We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.
American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant of Student Services for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, an AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative assistance to the student services department, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and handling phone calls.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to student services, including records, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain and update student records, including enrollment information, attendance, disciplinary records, and special education files.
- Process and file student records accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Assist in coordinating services for students, including academic support, counseling, special education, and health services.
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and service providers to ensure that students receive the appropriate support and resources.
- Provide information and support to students and families regarding school policies, procedures, and available services.
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for student services appointments, including meetings with counselors, special education staff, and other support personnel.
- Assist in organizing and managing events related to student services, such as orientations, parent workshops, and support group meetings.
- Enter and manage related to student services in relevant systems, including student information systems and databases.
- Generate reports and summaries on student services activities, performance, and other metrics as needed by school administration.
- Assist in the administration of special programs, such as after-school programs, summer school, and intervention services.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining documentation for audits and evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in administration, business, or a related field
- Familiarity with academic record-keeping and school administrative processes
