What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Substitute Teacher position at American Leadership Academy - Coastal?
Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.
American Leadership Academy–Coastal (K–6) is now accepting applications for long-term substitute teachers in third and fourth grade for the 2025–2026 school year. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily classroom instruction as aligned to approved lesson plans.
- Ensure that all school and district policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure a sustainable relationship with parents, school personnel, and members of the public.
- Submit grades and attendance according to the procedures of the school.
- Prepare classroom for instructions prior to the start of the school year.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
