American Lawyers Group, PLLC is a fast-growing law firm conveniently across from the Fairfax County Courthouse. We have represented thousands of clients with their legal needs in Virginia.
We are looking to expand our team of dedicated family law attorneys. Qualified candidates will have an interest in domestic law, including divorce, child custody/support, adoptions and protective orders.
This position requires a demonstrated interest in litigation and a willingness to collaborate with team members to provide our clients with excellent service.
Virginia Bar required, though compelling candidates who have or will sit for the Virginia Bar Exam will be considered. Spanish language fluency is a plus. We will provide training where needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Virginia State Bar member in good standing.
- Family Attorneys must possess excellent verbal and legal writing skills.
- Must own transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish conversational skills (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in legal research ( divorce, child custody , child support , and adoptions ).
- Attend return hearings and pretrial conferences;
- Effectively manage time and deadlines.
