The Role Superior Lawn Care is hiring a Lawn Treatment Route Technician to independently manage a daily route servicing residential and commercial properties.
You'll apply fertilizer, weed control, pest treatments, and other turf-care products while helping customers maintain healthy, attractive lawns.
This is not a mowing, landscaping, or general property maintenance position.
We're looking for someone with hands-on lawn care, turf treatment, spray application, or similar experience who is comfortable working independently in the field.
Required
What You'll Do Manage and complete your own daily service route
Apply liquid and granular fertilizer, weed control, and pest treatments
Mix and measure products safely and accurately
Operate and maintain spray equipment, spreaders, and application tools
Identify common lawn issues such as weeds, insects, disease, and nutrient problems
Keep accurate service and product-usage records
Communicate with customers and recommend additional services when appropriate
Maintain company equipment and vehicles
Meet quality, safety, production, and customer-service expectations What We're Looking For Required:
At least 6 months of professional lawn care, turf care, treatment, or spray/application experience
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to independently manage a daily route
Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, humidity, and changing weather
Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work throughout the day
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Comfortable communicating with customers Preferred:
Experience applying fertilizer, weed control, herbicides, pesticides, or similar products
Experience with spray equipment, spreaders, or other application equipment
Ability to identify weeds, insects, disease, or other turf problems
Previous experience as a Lawn Spray Technician, Lawn Treatment Technician, Applicator, Turf Technician, or Pest Control Technician
Experience in a route-based service position
Pesticide/applicator license or certification A Good Fit for This Role You're comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your route. You can stay on schedule, provide consistent service, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in the results you produce.
