Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, for a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, supervise maintenance staff, and ensure the property systems and equipment are functioning efficiently. Key responsibilities include performing and managing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors or contractors as needed. The role involves collaboration with property management to maintain high standards of safety and functionality within the community.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and coordinate maintenance teams effectively while maintaining high performance standards

- Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance: Knowledge and expertise in maintaining and servicing property systems and equipment on a scheduled basis to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance & Repair: Proficiency in performing general repairs and addressing maintenance needs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other deferred maintenance repairs

- Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Strong computer skills, including experience with OneSite is preferred, work order systems, email, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Familiarity with safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience managing maintenance operations at a large property and supervising large maintenance teams is highly preferred.
Bilingual is preferred.
- EPA Certification is required
