Part Time Admin Assistant
The American Lamb Board is looking for a part time administrative assistant (roughly 20-24 hours per week) to provide a broad range of administrative duties to support our programs. The American Lamb Board is a non-profit organization working on behalf of all the sheep farmers and ranchers in the US to increase awareness and demand for American Lamb products.
The office is located in Greenwood Village, the staff is small (4 full time employees and 2 part time employees) and the environment is laid back and flexible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance & Finance
· Oversees all income assessments, database entries and account files including records of correspondence related to delinquencies & late fees
· Invoices first handlers based on custom slaughter reports and auction market data and create systems for tracking payments
· Work closely with the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer to identify delinquencies and to create reports for audits and monthly financials
Manage Industry/USDA Grant Project
· Organize and maintain files for 150 enrolled producers
· Track History via Excel
· Assist with quarterly reporting to USDA
General Office Support
· Assist with mailings
· Inventory of office supplies and promotional materials
· Maintain contact list and vendors/passwords
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including fluency with Excel
· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
· Strong problem solving and organizational skills
· Works well independently with minimal supervision
COMPENSATION:
Hourly compensation is $25 per hour.
This is a part-time, 20-24 hours per week position, days and times flexible.
Due to the nature of this position, it is not eligible to receive benefits.
