What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at American Institute of Certified Tax Planners?
We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Marketing Director to lead the marketing efforts across two mission-aligned brands: The American Institute of Certified Tax Planners (AICTP) and Think Outside the Tax Box (TOTTB). This role blends visionary thinking with tactical execution, overseeing a lean, high-performing marketing team of three and coordinating a wider network of freelance creatives and contractors. In this role, you’ll serve as both strategic architect and hands-on marketing leader, guiding your team across digital campaigns, public engagement, affiliate promotions, and brand visibility.
You’ll be responsible for owning the multi-channel marketing strategy from paid digital campaigns to offline outreach, while shaping integrated funnels that span awareness, nurture, conversion, and retention. This role requires both analytical insight and creative leadership, as well as strong team mentorship and cross-departmental collaboration.
This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and wants to make a measurable impact on revenue, brand visibility, and audience growth.
This is a unique opportunity for a marketing leader who excels at balancing creative vision with operational execution, and who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in growing both our audience and our impact, while shaping the voice, visibility, and success of two national brands at the forefront of tax strategy and education.
