Responsibilities
- Operate industrial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to perform laundry washing and textile cleaning tasks.
- Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading heavy items using push carts or other equipment to ensure safe manual handling practices.
- Follow strict safety standards in production environments, adhering to safety protocol guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas, including proper disposal of laundry detergents and chemicals used during cleaning processes.
- Manage laundry services efficiently by sorting garments, applying appropriate cleaning methods such as dry cleaning when necessary, and ensuring garments are properly cared for during processing.
- Assist with materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting of linens or textiles to support smooth workflow operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles and responding to internal or external requests professionally.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other supplies accurately.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care and quality control.
