American Industrial Transport, Inc. is a privately-owned company based in St. Charles Missouri, providing railcar leasing and repair services to the companies that move the essential assets that power the North American economy.
Job Summary & Core Responsibilities:
The Information Technology Intern will support AITX’s IT organization through meaningful project work and hands-on technical experience. Depending on assignment area, the intern may support initiatives related to data governance and policy, data engineering, reporting and analytics, business analysis, application development, or technical support. This internship provides exposure to how technology enables business operations while offering opportunities to build practical skills and apply academic learning in a real-world environment.
- Assist with technology projects supporting policy, governance, or documentation
- Support data engineering, reporting, or analytics initiatives
- Contribute to business analysis activities or application development efforts
- Assist with technical support or troubleshooting needs as assigned
- Provide general technology team support and participate in process improvement work
Required Experience / Skills / Qualifications / Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in technology and problem solving
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
