Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist servers by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining areas
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Support the restaurant team with guest relations to enhance overall dining experience
- Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor
Experience
- Prior host/host experience preferred but not required; hospitality or food service background is a plus
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hotel or guest services is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are highly valued
- Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles will help ensure success in this position
