6th Grade Classroom Aide
This is a part-time position (up to 14 hours a week between the hours of 8:30-12:15) for a 6th-grade classroom aide who will assist teachers with classroom management, grading (including grading math assignments), mentoring students, and providing general teacher and student support. A bachelor's degree and previous experience in school settings are preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong communication and classroom-management skills, high energy, and a willingness to learn. Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor and willing to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus.
