Human Resource Officer
American Heritage School is seeking a part-time HR Officer to support hiring, benefits, and employee records as Salt Lake City campus expands.
Responsibilities
- Manage the hiring process from posting through offer: publish job openings, review applications, screen candidates, and schedule and coordinate interviews
- Correspond with applicants and hiring managers throughout the search
- Prepare new-hire paperwork and maintain accurate, confidential personnel records
- Coordinate annual open enrollment and serve as a first point of contact for employee benefits questions
- Schedule and track year-end performance reviews and follow up on completion
- Provide clerical and administrative support to faculty and staff on HR matters
Qualifications
- Competent writing and communication skills, with proven discretion in handling confidential information
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new systems and skills as the office expands
Position Details
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Includes tuition credit benefit
