Project Coordinator - Permian Basin

American Heart Association and Careers
Odessa, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 3/18/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/16/2026

Overview

Since our founding in 1924, we've cut cardiovascular disease deaths in half, but there is still so much more to do. To overcome today’s biggest health challenges and accelerate this progress, we need passionate individuals like you. Join our movement, be part of the progress, and help ensure a healthier future for all. You matter, and so does the impact you can make with us.

Our 2030 strategic value proposition further cements the American Heart Association’s commitment to health when we state that we will be a catalyst to achieving maximum impact to remove health disparities. In rural communities this can only be achieved through a focused approach to increasing access to healthcare and close the 10-year gap in life expectancies between those living in suburban communities and rural communities.

We’re hiring a Project Coordinator who will drive the implementation of rural health hubs in Pecos, Ward and Brewster counties.

This is a home-based position that will require traveling within the three counties mentioned. The ideal candidate will live in the Texas Permian Basin. This is a grant-funded, temporary, part time (20 hours/week) implementer position for 2 year.

The Association offers many resources to help you maintain work-life harmonization through your changing needs and life situations. To help you be successful, you will have access to Heart U, our award-winning corporate university, as well as additional training and support, locally.

#TheAHALife is more than a company culture; it is our way of life. It embodies our commitment to work-life harmonization and is guided by our core values where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally. Discover why you will Be Seen. Be Heard.
