We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll transactions, preparing reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting. The analyst will collaborate with the CFO and Controller to provide data and insights that support strategic decision-making.
Requirements for this position are as follows:
TITLE: Financial Analyst
LOCATION: 26460 Summit Circle Santa Clarita, CA 91351
TIME/STATUS: This is a Full-time position, with a 40 - hour workweek. Your schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including AP/AR, payroll, and bank accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Generate and maintain accurate aging reports; resolve discrepancies and customer inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close, compliance, and process improvements.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights through spreadsheets and reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- 2 years of accounting experience; 3 years in AR/Collections preferred.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service, and communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare or government contracts is a plus.
