Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and high-performing Business Development Manager with a strong “Hunter” mentality to support aggressive market expansion. This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and security sectors.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this individual will play a key role in generating new revenue and expanding our client portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in outbound sales, brings a strong sense of ownership, and is motivated by uncapped earning potential.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Prospecting
- Execute proactive outbound strategies to identify and engage new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
Consultative Selling
- Conduct site visits and needs assessments to understand client challenges
- Develop tailored solutions aligned with security and facility service offerings
Full Sales Cycle Ownership
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Maintain momentum across deals to drive efficient sales cycles
Revenue Generation
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Focus on securing long-term, high-value service contracts
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting in HubSpot
- Use data insights to improve outreach and forecasting accuracy
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to ensure solutions are operationally feasible and aligned with client expectations
Candidate Profile & QualificationsSales Experience
- 3–8 years of B2B sales experience with a strong focus on new business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Hunter Mentality
- Self-starter with strong prospecting skills and resilience in outbound sales environments
- Comfortable with cold outreach and building relationships from the ground up
Communication & Influence
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to engage decision-makers across multiple levels, including executives
Technical Proficiency
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Familiarity with modern sales tools and technology
Driving Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required, as this position involves driving a company vehicle
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$109,000
- Commission: Uncapped earning potential
