What You'll Do

This full-time, permanent position in a manufacturing environment plays a critical role in the production of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.

The Digital Press Operator (Indigo) plays a key role in the production of high-quality charitable and lottery gaming products including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) bingo paper and point-of-sale materials. This full-time permanent position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is responsible for producing accurate high-quality color reproductions of provided artwork using digital press technology. The role requires exceptional attention to detail adherence to production specifications and a strong commitment to process efficiency and color consistency.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional with experience operating HP Indigo or comparable digital press equipment. They possess a deep understanding of color management and print quality control and thrive in a fast-paced production environment where precision and consistency are essential. This individual takes pride in their craftsmanship, works collaboratively with others to solve problems efficiently and maintains a strong focus on continuous improvement, productivity and safety.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Operate and maintain digital Indigo press equipment to ensure consistent color control and optimal print quality throughout each production run.
• Review production schedules, prioritize jobs and recommend workflow adjustments to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Maximize production output and minimize waste through proactive process improvement and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and adjust press settings to maintain precise registration, color balance and image quality.
• Utilize all available process control functions and color management tools including densitometers and spectrophotometers.
• Inspect printed materials for quality assurance ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, cleaning and calibration of press equipment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate production records including time sheets, material usage and quality control logs.
• Follow detailed written procedures job tickets and specifications for each printing project.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in Pre-Press Finishing and Quality Control departments to resolve production issues.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in printing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience operating digital presses (HP Indigo experience strongly preferred).
• Proficient in digital press operations color management and image correction.
• Strong ability to diagnose and correct press and color issues in real time.
• Skilled in using color control densitometers interpreting data and making necessary corrections.
• Knowledge of workflow from design and pre-press to finishing and packaging.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems and digital front-end (DFE) software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work well in a diverse environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available).
