The Conversion Palletizer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery.
Specific Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspection of work area and address noted issues
- Prepares production supplies, including pallets, boxes, tape, and stretch wrap
- Conducts daily inspection and preventative maintenance of machinery
- Reads job specification sheet to determine job requirements
- Verifies orders being produced on Seamers
- Verifies daily shipping requirements to ensure priorities are met
- Completes required paperwork for each job
- Packs finished product for shipment to customer
- Cleans up machine and work area
- Assists in training of new employees
- Assists with other tasks as needed
- Complies with all Plant Rules
- All other appropriate duties as assigned by the management team
- Applies temperature tags to the pallets
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to learn and understand machine operations and the use of the proper tools for the job
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus while maintaining important details

- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to move and lift to 50 lbs.
- Able to reach and bend
