We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Business Development Coordinator (BDC) to manage inbound leads for a fast-growing food truck manufacturing company.
This role is not a closing position. Your primary responsibility is to qualify serious buyers and schedule appointments for our Sales Managers.
You will be the first point of contact for potential clients and play a critical role in ensuring only high-quality, ready-to-move-forward prospects enter our sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Contact inbound leads quickly via phone, text, and email (warm leads only — no cold calling)
- Budget readiness
- Timeline
- Seriousness of the project
- Educate prospects briefly on our process and quality standards
- Schedule appointments for the Sales Managers for final pricing and closing
- Maintain accurate notes and updates in CRM
- Follow up with leads that do not respond on the first attempt
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and control in all conversations
Ideal Candidate
- Strong phone presence and confident communication skills
- Able to guide and control conversations (not just “chat”)
- Comfortable asking direct qualifying questions
- Understands the difference between price shoppers vs serious buyers
- Organized and detail-oriented with CRM usage
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
