AFF Group Fitness Instructor

**Key Responsibilities: **
- Lead engaging and effective GX classes, tailored to various fitness levels.
- Show proper exercise form and technique, ensuring participant safety.
- Provide modifications and progressions to meet individual fitness levels and needs.
- Create and keep a positive, supportive, and motivating environment for class participants.
- Stay current with fitness trends and continue to develop professionally.
- Help in promoting fitness programs and services offered by the facility.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- Build relationships with class participants to enhance member retention and encourage new membership.
**Qualifications: **
- Group Fitness Instructor Certification (ACE/AFAA) or PT (Personal Training) approved training (NASM/ACE)
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise modifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, dedicated and committed to the classes and the members they are teaching.
