Position Overview
American Energy Resources is hiring Outdoor Utility Technicians in Greer, South Carolina to support gas meter installation and replacement projects.
This role involves daily outdoor work and is a great fit for individuals who prefer active, hands-on work over desk-based roles.
This position requires walking, lifting, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
Pay & Advancement
- Training pay begins at $20.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
- Weekly performance incentives
- Advancement opportunities available after training
Training
Training is completed locally before transitioning into full field work.
Responsibilities
- Install and replace residential gas meters
- Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Follow company safety procedures at all times
- Work efficiently as part of a field team
- Maintain professional communication with customers
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift, walk, and perform physical work daily
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Strong reliability and attendance
Employment contingent upon successful completion of background check, drug screening, and driving record review where permitted by law.
