Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Assist in monitoring boiler water quality and monitor and maintain water treatment facility and its associated equipment.
- Conduct daily sampling.
- Assist in performance of analyses per established laboratory procedures.
- Assist in operation and maintenance of test equipment.
- Conform to all environmental, health and safety rules in the work place.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Two years of college or technical school in chemistry, or equivalent.
- Equivalent would include 2 years of military experience or some post high school education in addition to 1 to 3 years experience in chemical laboratory work. Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must satisfactorily complete, in such time frames as may be established by the Company, all required training to advance to Lab Technician Grade 2.
- Must successfully qualify for Lab Technician Grade 2 within two years.
- Must be available for call-out.
- Must live within 1 hour commute of the plant.
