American Diamond Logistics is a fully licensed Domestic and International third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in FTL and LTL shipments thru the use of Dry Vans, Refrigerated Trucks, Flat Beds, and Intermodal providers along with Air Freight/Ocean coverage for international markets. Responsibilities
- Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within the organization
- Retain and grow market share with our top tier customer
- Gather, analyze, and prepare relevant information for business reviews, QBRs and be an active participant
- Conduct regular business reviews, leveraging internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insight, and understands positive and negative trends in data, to uncover new opportunities for growth, increase sales, and retain and grow the business by presenting strategic solutions.
- Work with the operations team to ensure optimal execution through the use of SOPs, best in class business process, and mutually agreed upon customer KPI’s.
- Provide solution design through face-to-face interactions with accounts
- Sell and negotiate at a core and strategic level
- Identify opportunities to strengthen our customer relationships by possessing a “Whatever it Takes” attitude.
- Manage/execute the bid cycle including the RFP process, awards, and rate contracting phases.
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University preferred.
- 2-3 years of Transportation or Logistics industry experience required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills and be process oriented.
- Possess strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Computer literate, strong data analytic, program management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Organized: Must be highly organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal: Must possess strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).
- Self-motivation: Having a positive attitude, strong sense of urgency, and the initiative to work independently.
- Conflict resolution: Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with others. Know how to be persuasive with the ability to stay calm.
