The role:
As a Traveling Service Technician, your technical skills, adaptability, and commitment to customer service are essential to supporting our growing client base. This position requires travel to customer sites to perform a variety of specialty construction, concrete restoration, and structural repair services. Successful candidates are hands-on problem solvers who thrive in dynamic work environments and are willing to learn new trades and techniques.
Responsibilities:
Skilled in or willingness/ability to learn:
- Concrete saw cutting and infill repairs
- Structural foam slab lifting and stabilization
- Floor leveling and surface restoration
- Concrete flatwork installation and repair
- Forming and pouring driveways, patios, sidewalks, and related concrete structures
- Core drilling (horizontal and vertical applications)
- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) operation and interpretation
- Masonry work, including block, brick, grout, and repair applications
- Carpentry work, including framing, finish carpentry, and concrete formwork
- Structural steel welding, including beam installation, flange attachment, cutting, and fabrication
- Drywall framing, hanging, finishing, and repair
- Travel to customer and project sites as required
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Maintain clear communication with customers, project managers, and team members
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Assist with troubleshooting field conditions and developing practical solutions
Experience:
- 3–5 years of construction experience, preferably focused on concrete services, restoration, or specialty contracting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Willingness to learn new trades, techniques, and equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in physically demanding environments
