Duties
- Work with a team to conduct routine inspections, electrical testing, and diagnostics on high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, relays, circuit breakers and switchgear
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of power distribution systems
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and relay testers to ensure system integrity and safety compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE use, electrical safety procedures, climbing safety standards, and outdoor work best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage, relay testing, transformers, and power distribution systems
- Skilled in rigging operations and climbing techniques
- Experience working in the industrial sector is highly preferred
- Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions with a focus on safety procedures for high-voltage work
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures including PPE use during outdoor activities
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team on complex field service tasks involving electrical field testing and troubleshooting
