Responsibilities As a General Laborer, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. In addition, you will: Be responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with the use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks Work in outdoor utility construction sites Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field Learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record) Compensation of $18-$25 per hour, depending on the experience.
